Fun for old and young

The new Mara Ladybird adventure trail

The family offer in Lautenbach
What's that creeping and flying? Can you also hear the buzzing and humming?
A meadow is the perfect habitat for many animals and plants, because here they find food, hiding places and ideal conditions for their offspring.
Experience the fascinating habitat of our Mara Ladybird and find out at various stations which beetles and butterflies are native to our region and why some insects need a specific plant to survive.
There are many play stations for you along the way. There's no chance of getting bored here!
And who knows, maybe a ladybird will land on your hand - they are considered a real lucky charm.

The mascot Mara Ladybird will accompany you on your way. Just follow the markers!
You will also find colourful flowers, insects and birds along the way to guide you.

For your information: The trail is also suitable for strollers!

Rosi the Robin adventure trail

The highlight for families in Oppenau

If you are really quiet, you can hear it chirping and whistling. Who is it that sings so beautifully?
Discover the world of our native birds with Rosi the Robin and her feathered friends! Let her introduce you to her friends and learn everything about the world of birds on numerous information boards and activity stations along the way: how they sing, how they breed and where they live. Perhaps a particularly large member of Rosi’s family actually lives in the giant nest?

Forest, meadow and city dwellers also like is cosy: the colourful bird houses offer them a comfortable place to live. But beware – a cat also moves on Rosi’s trails. Have you seen it yet? Follow Rosi the Robin and become a real bird expert!

Our tip: Due to the narrow paths, this trail is not suitable for pushchairs. A rucksack can be borrowed for a fee. Please ask at our service points for further information.
